WET & DRY BLASTING SERVICES

WHICH PROCESS?

Wet blasting and dry blasting are two commonly used methods for abrasive cleaning. These techniques involve propelling small particles at high speed to remove rust, mill scale, contaminants, and old paint or coatings from surfaces. Both wet blasting and dry blasting are used for surface preparation, cleaning, and restoration purposes. Wet blasting involves the use of a water slurry mix, which helps produce a smoother finish as the water washes away any abrasive residue and dust upon impact. It also prevents the media from becoming encrusted onto the surface. The water acts as a cushion, softening the impact of the abrasive media on the workpiece and flushing away any media particles. This results in a smoother finish that can be left as a satin finish or further polished to a shine through multiple stages.

VAPOUR/WET BLASTING

Vapour blasting is a process that involves a combination of compressed air and a solution made of glass bead and water. This mixture is used for degreasing and cleaning hard-to-reach areas. The water in the solution acts as a cushion, preventing any erosion or heat-induced distortion on the parts being cleaned. This method is highly effective in removing years of corrosion, grime, and tarnish from even the most confined spaces. With vapour blasting, you can easily restore your parts to their original condition in just one step, and they will remain cleaner for a longer period of time.

DRY BLASTING

We offer dry blasting services for both ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Our process is highly effective in removing automotive painted finishes, as well as cleaning and preparing surfaces for coating or repainting. We can also restore surfaces to their original clean and bright finishes. Our large suction blast cabinet, with internal dimensions of 94L x 58D x 58H cm, allows us to handle a variety of projects. For more demanding tasks such as paint or rust removal, we use the aggressive garnet media. However, if a less abrasive option is required, we also have glass bead media available. With our equipment, we can provide exceptional results for all your blasting needs.
