POWDER COATING

THE PROCESS

The powder coating process is a solvent-free method that involves using a dry mixture of plastic resins, colour pigments, and fillers. When heated, these materials fuse together and create a strong and smooth finish. The application is done through a powder coating gun and is electrostatically applied to the item being coated. This technique results in a durable finish that is resistant to chipping, cracking, and fading. The powder coating process is widely used in various industries, including automotive, construction, and furniture manufacturing, due to its ability to provide a high-quality and long-lasting coating. This process eliminates the need for harmful solvents and reduces waste, making it a preferred choice for those seeking sustainable coating options.

WHAT CAN BE COATED

Any ferrous or non ferrous object that can hold a electrostatic charge and or withstand the heat from the curing process with tempertures up to 250 degrees celsius during the outgassing process.

Including items like. Industrial Fabrication, Retail displays and fixtures, motorcycle frames and parts,Automotive parts, inlet manifolds, some brake parts, suspension arms, scooters, BMX, bicycles verandah lacework. With a maximum size between blast cabinets and oven of 120L x 60D x 50W cm.

COLOURS

Additionally, if there is a specific colour that you require and we do not currently have it in stock, we can accommodate your request and provide it for you. Our team can also apply a primer coat before applying the final colour finish. This primer coat serves two important purposes: it enhances the resistance of the surface to corrosion and ensures better adhesion of the paint. This way, we guarantee that your powdered surfaces will not only look great but also remain protected for a longer period of time.
